At the end of each month the Party Affairs department sends out an email updating party leaders on focuses for the month and on any dates or events that are relevant. Below you can find the July updates as well as a form to track progress on how the month is going.
The DFL Voter Protection team is building one of the largest programs that Minnesota has ever seen, and they need your help. The program is successful because of the hundreds of County Liaison, Poll Challenger, and Voter Protection Hotline volunteers. Your efforts will help ensure that every eligible voter can cast their ballot and their vote counts. You can learn more about all of these roles and sign up to volunteer at www.dfl.org/voterprotection. If you have any questions about the program, please reach out to Ms. Simone Frierson, the DFL Voter Protection Director, at [email protected]
The DFL Outreach and Inclusion Reimbursement Program aims to provide funds to support efforts by party units and community caucuses to increase political participation in underserved and underrepresented communities. There is money set aside to be shared by organizing units in each congressional district, as well as for Community Caucuses in good standing to use on statewide initiatives. These grants do not replace regular fundraising, instead, they are there to support new efforts to engage communities.
Sign up for DFL Communications Emails – These emails are meant to help you stay up to date on what is happening in the DFL and provide resources to support your communications efforts.
Each week the DFL hosts a call for party leaders that includes a mini-training and time for leaders to meet each other to share ideas – as well as a time to ask me questions directly. To accommodate varying schedules, the mini-training portion of the call will be posted on the Training Hub each week after the call.
