ST PAUL – Today, the Minnesota DFL Party announced that it had raised approximately $9.5 million in 2023, breaking the party’s 2019 off-year fundraising record of $8.1 million by more than $1.3 million. The party enters 2024 with just under $1.9 million in cash on hand.

Our historic off-year fundraising in 2023 puts us in a strong position to defend the historic achievements that DFLers have delivered for Minnesota,” said DFL Chairman Ken Martin. “Our financial strength will allow us to organize in communities across Minnesota and hold Republicans accountable for becoming the party of Donald Trump. We will leave nothing on the table to ensure that DFLers can continue to defend our democracy and improve people’s lives.

The Minnesota DFL has raised nearly four times more than the Minnesota GOP and has six times more cash on hand. The Minnesota GOP enters 2024 with more debt than cash on hand.
