DFL Party Releases Slate of Endorsed State Legislative Candidates
Today, the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party released its slate of endorsed candidates for the Minnesota legislature.
The DFL Party’s state legislative endorsements were decided by party supporters and activists who voted in online conventions from April 25th to May 4th. Endorsements for the U.S. House of Representatives will be decided via online balloting from May 14th to May 23rd.
DFL Party Chairman Ken Martin released the following statement:
“The Minnesota DFL Party has endorsed a tremendous slate of candidates from all walks of life and from all across Minnesota. Voters everywhere can trust DFL Party-endorsed candidates to expand opportunity, build prosperity, and fight for the safety and security of all Minnesotans.
“Our party has spent the past year and a half recruiting an extremely talented and diverse team of candidates that will take back the Minnesota State Senate, further our gains in the State House, and build a better future for all Minnesotans. The early investments we’ve made in identifying, recruiting, and supporting candidates all over Minnesota reflects the fact that DFLers are committed to organizing hard, contesting every race, and taking absolutely nothing for granted this year.”
