DFL Party Raises 50 Times As Much As MNGOP

04/15/2022

Today, the Minnesota DFL Party reported raising $2,304,897.03 in their state account during the first three months of 2022. The DFL Party currently has $1,584,345.86 cash on hand. This is in stark contrast to the Republican Party of Minnesota, which raised $45,680.40 and has $53,785.61 cash on hand.

DFL Party Chairman Ken Martin released the following statement:

“Thanks to the backing of Minnesotans everywhere, the DFL Party has the resources to run a strong statewide organizing campaign to support our candidates up and down the ballot. Meanwhile, the Minnesota GOP has the resources to buy a pre-owned Chevy Tahoe, as long as they don’t put too many bells and whistles on it.

“The DFL Party is in the process of hiring a robust, grassroots organizing team that will work to get out the vote across Minnesota. The fact that our party outraised the Minnesota GOP by 50 times is a sign that, once again, we will be organizing circles around the competition this campaign season.”
