DFL Party Chairman Ken Martin released the following statement after the State Auditor’s race was called for Julie Blaha:

“Congratulations to our fantastic State Auditor, Julie Blaha. Auditor Blaha has been a tremendous champion for the work done by local governments across Minnesota, and she won because she used the office to defend that work. Auditor Blaha found $4 million in fraud and helped law enforcement prosecute those responsible, and her work helped prevent $500 million in waste and fraud. Through that work, Auditor Blaha safeguarded our tax dollars and made sure that money went where it belongs—to our schools, our first responders, and our infrastructure. I am looking forward to all that Auditor Blaha will accomplish for Minnesotans during her next term.”
