Where is Senate District 61?

Senate District 61 encompasses the neighborhoods of Uptown, Southwest, Lakes Bde Maka Ska, Isles, Cedar and Harriet, Downtown West, Elliot Park and Bryn Mawr. SD61 DFL consistently ranks in the top three Senate Districts in voter turnout. We’re represented by dedicated leadership and aim to create a more connected DFL party both within our geography and throughout the State.

The SD61 Central Committee meets the third Monday of each month at Grace Trinity Church, 1430 W 28th St, Minneapolis at 7:30 pm. Upcoming meetings are May 20, June 17, July 15, August 19, September 16. Zoom option is also available.
