Schultz for Congress: Field Organizer

Deadline: 05/17/2024

Full Time

Full-Time: Field Organizer

Jen Schultz for Congress

About Jen Schultz for Congress:

Jen Schultz is running for congress in Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District. She is challenging current U.S. Representative Pete Stauber because she believes we deserve better from our leaders. The gridlock, attacks on women’s healthcare, and the threat to our democracy have to end.

In Congress, Jen will focus on growing our economy by growing the middle class, safeguarding retirement security, and protecting access to women’s healthcare. She has a long track record of achieving results by working across the aisle to get things done. Jen ran in 2022, entering the race late in the year and still managing to garner 141,009 votes. Running again in 2024 gives her the opportunity to have a longer on ramp to run a campaign to defeat Pete Stauber.

Jen is a former Minnesota State Legislator serving four successful terms representing Duluth and has earned a Ph.D in health economics. She lives in Duluth with her husband and two sons and is a professor at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
