ST. PAUL – Today, the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party announced that Illinois Governor JB Pritzker will headline the DFL Party’s 13th annual Humphrey-Mondale Dinner on Friday, June 13, 2025. Tickets for the Humphrey-Mondale Dinner are available at humphreymondaledinner.com
“At a moment when Democrats are looking for leaders who will fight back, Governor Pritzker has been leading the charge,” said Minnesota DFL Chair Richard Carlbom. “From raising the minimum wage to protecting reproductive freedom, he has shown how Democrats can deliver for people through policies grounded in fairness and compassion. I am honored to be welcoming him to Minnesota, where that vision goes hand in hand with DFL values.”
“Minnesota and Illinois have become national models for what Democrats can achieve when we stand our ground and fight for our values,” said Governor Pritzker. “Minnesota Democrats know how to win tough fights, and they’ve turned those wins at the ballot box into victories for working families in the halls of government. I am excited to work with them to defend and build upon that progress.”
As Governor, Pritzker has raised the minimum wage to a living wage, enshrined protections for reproductive rights into law, passed a nation-leading climate plan, and expanded access to health care, childcare, and early childhood education.
