Voting in Minnesota

 

Voting Requirements

To vote in Minnesota, you must be:

A U.S. citizen

At least 18 years old on or before Election Day (you may pre-register if not yet 18)

A resident of Minnesota for 20 days or more

Not currently incarcerated for a felony conviction

Not under a court order that revokes your right to vote

Register to Vote

Before you can vote, you must register. In Minnesota, you may register at least 20 days before Election Day or on Election Day at your polling place.

 

Vote Early

You can vote up to 46 days before Election Day either by mail or in-person.
