ST PAUL – Tonight, Minnesota DFL Chairman Ken Martin released the following statement after Royce White won the Minnesota Republican Party Senate primary:
DFL Chairman Ken Martin: “Tonight, Republicans chose a far-right extremist as their Senate candidate. Royce White is an election denier with a history of antisemitic comments who thinks ‘women have become too mouthy’ and has said overturning Roe v. Wade was the ‘single greatest thing’ the government has done in his lifetime. While Royce White’s language and policies seek to divide Minnesotans, Senator Amy Klobuchar is focused on bringing people together to get things done, and she is consistently ranked as one of the most bipartisan and effective legislators in the Senate. The choice this November could not be more clear.”
