ST PAUL – Today, the Minnesota DFL Party released the following statement after disgraced former Minnesota GOP Chair Jennifer Carnahan announced she would be seeking the Minnesota Republican Party’s nomination to replace former MNGOP State Senator Justin Eichorn.
Minnesota DFL Executive Director Heidi Kraus Kaplan: “It’s disgraceful that the Minnesota GOP might replace a Senator who resigned after a child prostitution arrest with a former Minnesota GOP Chair who resigned because of her ties with a child sex trafficker.”
Carnahan’s resigned in disgrace as MNGOP Chair after her ties with Anton Lazzaro and alleged knowledge of his behavior came to light.
