DFL Party Chairman Ken Martin released the following statement after the party endorsed Representative Betty McCollum on the first ballot:

Our DFL Party endorsed Representative McCollum because she has been working tirelessly to protect our environment, advocate for tribal nations, fight for universal health care, advance civil rights at home and abroad, and defend access to abortion.
