Digital Partnerships Coordinator, Minnesota DFL

REPORTS TO: Digital Director

LOCATION: Minneapolis, MN


The Minnesota DFL is hiring a Digital Partnerships Coordinator that will help elect Democrats up and down the ballot with a special focus on the Governor’s race. As the Digital Partnerships Coordinator, you will work closely with the DFL’s political team to create content for communities and surrogates to elevate the message of our party. The Digital Partnerships Coordinator should be a team player and strong writer that can collaborate with a larger campaign team.

This is a full-time, paid position based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Digital Partnerships Coordinator reports to the Digital Director.


Salary:  $3,000-$4000 month, based on experience, depending on experience

What you would do in this role:

  • Work with the political team to field and evaluate digital requests
  • Research to find surrogates and report on surrogate asks and performance
  • Create content to help accomplish political or surrogate requests
  • Create content for social packets that would be delivered to partners
  • Help manage outreach to key communities online
  • Work with the statewide candidates to help execute an overall messaging strategy
  • Work with the larger team to enact the digital plan


Qualifications you should have for this position:

  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • Experience writing or editing digital content that drives action and maintains a consistent voice
  • Internship-level to 2 years experience working for a campaign or political organization
