Klobuchar’s opponent, Royce White, spent the debate attacking bipartisanship, doubling down on controversial comments, including that “the bad guys won World War II” and going after members of his own party
Klobuchar: “Courage in these next few years is not going to be standing by yourself yelling at people or being alone. Courage is whether or not you’re willing to stand next to someone you don’t always agree with for the betterment of this country. That’s what I will continue to do as your Senator.”
ST PAUL – During this morning’s hour-long debate on WCCO Radio, Senator Klobuchar highlighted her record of bipartisan accomplishments and laid out a clear vision for the future. Last Congress, Senator Klobuchar was ranked number one in the Senate for introducing bipartisan bills and number three for passing bills into law, including legislation lowering the cost of prescription drugs, taking on shipping backlogs that were raising costs for businesses, and making sure veterans exposed to toxic substances like burn pits and Agent Orange get the health care they need. Klobuchar has also been focused on strengthening democracy and ensuring that women can have control over their own healthcare decisions. She has been endorsed by a broad coalition of groups including the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association (MPPOA) and Minnesota Professional Fire Fighters (MPFF), Planned Parenthood Action, the Farm Bureau, and the Farmers Union.
Meanwhile, Klobuchar’s opponent, Royce White, spent the debate attacking bipartisanship, doubling down on controversial comments, and going after members of his own party. During the debate, Royce White:
- Doubled down on the idea of ending the Federal Reserve and said “I wouldn’t be opposed to going back to the gold standard.”
- Doubled down on his comments saying the bad guys won in WW2: “I said that the bad guys won, and they did.”
- Didn’t refute his opposition to IVF or his previous comments that overturning Roe v. Wade was “the single greatest thing that my government has done in my lifetime.”
- Asked if Trump lost Minnesota during the 2020 election, White said, “I can’t be sure.”
- Spent the debate attacking members of his own party like Norm Coleman and Rudy Boschwitz. And Josh Hawley. And Chuck Grassley. And Dick Cheney. And Mike Pence.
“Amy Klobuchar made the case for Democrats, Republicans, and Independents in Minnesota that she is the strongest candidate in this race. She knows how to stand up for what she believes in and she also knows how to stand with people she doesn’t always agree with to get things done. Royce White, on the other hand, publicly rejects bipartisanship and spends his time focused on out there ideas like getting rid of the FBI and the Federal Reserve and returning to the gold standard. Royce White is focused on soundbites for his podcast and dragging people through the mud – Amy Klobuchar is focused on results, and this debate made that clear,” said Minnesota DFL Chairman Ken Martin.

Opposition to Scientific Method & STEM Education
White has been highly critical of the scientific method and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education.
- White: “Four Heresies In The West: One, The Scientific Method. Seriously, That Was The First Heresy.” [Royce White Zumbro Falls Town Hall, 6/19/24]
- White:“A remnant of the Post WWII Democratic Liberal Order, we have two philosophies that dominate the field of formative education — Liberal Arts, from which Marxism is always sure to sprout, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). In America we teach our children to be two things at school — self absorbed, overweight, consumers and reliable contributors to the Military Industrial Complex. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that the term STEM was officially coined by the National Science Foundation (NSF) in 2001. The same year we effectively gave over essential rights of privacy, to the Military Industrial Complex. Supposedly done in response to 9/11 for the war on terror. Although formalized in 2001, STEM was the culmination of a 50 year stretch through WWII and The Cold War, that yielded many technological military advancements come from collaborative academic science programs. This two prong approach in educating our youth, was never intended to produce well rounded, critical thinking, God fearing, patriots. It was intended to produce exactly what it produced… A populous good at distraction and protecting their distraction.” [Royce White Substack, 1/29/23]
9/11 Conspiracy Theories
Alex Jones said on Royce White’s show that before 9/11 he predicted that the U.S. government was going to blow up the World Trade Center and “blame bin Laden.” And White didn’t take him on, he didn’t disagree with him. Instead he called him an “oracle.”
In a separate podcast, White questioned the plane hitting the Pentagon on 9/11.
- White: “Dude, dude, you’re a freaking oracle. When you said that, when you explained that just now, it made sense who you are. Like all the other stuff, I could have started with 9/11. I should have started with that because that really— if you’re willing to open your mind to believe that certain people are blessed and given certain gifts— first of all, if you’re anti-Christian, you don’t believe that anybody’s born special, which is kind of a scam. But if you believe that certain people are born special, it makes sense why you’ve been at the forefront of all the things that you’ve been because you’ve been given a special vision.” [Please Call Me Crazy Podcast Episode 18, 3/17/23]
- ALEX JONES: “And I know these dreams because I had dreams before 9/11 of the smoking building and the bombs and bin Laden, and I went on air and said, ‘They’re going to blow the World Trade Center and blame bin Laden, and they’re using it for control’ because I was having this recurring dream. And the dreams are not like watching TV. It’s HD, people jumping out of the buildings and the burning, and I’m seeing the World Trade Center on fire. And I went on air and said, ‘They’re going to blow up the World Trade Center again, and they’re going to blame bin Laden.’ And I did that on July 25, 2001, on record because I was with it a few times.” [Please Call Me Crazy Podcast Episode 18, 3/17/23]
- White: “Go back to Rumsfeld, in 2001. He says, ‘We’re missing 3… you know, whatever… However much money.’ And then, the next day, you had 9/11 take place, and then you have a plane smack into the Pentagon and there’s no camera footage of the plane hitting the Pentagon? The most secure fucking building in the entire world! The most secure building in the entire world. And there’s not a single camera shot of that airplane ramming into that building?! And we can’t even ask the question? We can’t even… We can’t even posit… Go ahead! I just… It starts to frustrate… Go ahead. HOTEP: I just want to know what kind of stupid people are out there, that believe those planes took down them buildings? WHITE: Oh man, that is the stupidest thing… I, I… [Please Call Me Crazy 12/5/23]
