ST PAUL – Today, Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party Chairman Ken Martin released the following statement after Congressman Brad Finstad voted to keep George Santos in Congress.
DFL Party Chairman Ken Martin: “It is embarrassing that Brad Finstad would vote to keep George Santos in Congress despite the scathing bipartisan ethics report confirming the overwhelming evidence of his unethical and criminal conduct. Over 100 of Brad Finstad’s Republican colleagues recognized that George Santos was unfit to serve, but he turned a blind eye. It’s disappointing that keeping another vote for the MAGA Republican agenda of banning abortion and taking away working families’ health care mattered more to Brad Finstad than standing up for integrity and decency.”
Congressman Tom Emmer and Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach also joined Congressman Finstad in voting to keep Geoge Santos in Congress.
