DFL Party Chairman Ken Martin released the following statement after the DFL Party endorsed Keith Ellison for Attorney General:
“When Keith Ellison ran for Attorney General, he promised to help Minnesotans afford their lives and ensure folks can live with dignity, safety, and respect – and he is delivering. Attorney General Ellison has been standing up to price gouging drug companies and predatory opioid manufacturers, defending access to abortion and the Affordable Care Act, and protecting seniors from fraud and abuse.
“Attorney General Ellison has led with courage, tenacity, and a relentless focus on making life better for Minnesotans across the state. It is a privilege to endorse Keith Ellison for Attorney General, and I am looking forward to working hard to ensure he wins in November.”
